Sept 22: Fall Equinox Yin Yoga and Sound Bath

Join Ashley Nissen Jones and Kari Haga for a Yin Yoga class and sound bath to welcome the autumn equinox. This workshop will focus on grounding, balance, and letting go as we transition into fall. Through gentle, long-held poses and soothing sound vibrations, we'll create space for deep relaxation and healing. Embrace the season of change with a practice designed to help you release and renew.

Meet Our Sound Healer, Kari Haga:

Kari (she/her), a sound bath practitioner and yoga instructor, will create a sonic space for you to cocoon into your own safe place where healing on many different layers may occur. It is Kari’s heartfelt desire for all who show up for themselves that they leave with an elevated stillness that stays with them. Her focus is on creating a safe environment for participants to relax and release physical and mental stressors, negative thoughts, physical pain. Her desire is to honor stillness as self-care by welcoming and encouraging participants to pause from life’s busywork and show up for themselves - less “doing” and more “being” amongst others who are wanting the same.

Meet Our Yin Instructor, Ashley Nissen Jones:

Ashley (she/her) first came to her mat in 2010 as a way to help with flexibility and mobility. Through her work as a mental health therapist, she became interested in the emotional, mental, and spiritual benefits that yoga can offer. From there her personal practice and her passion for yoga grew, and an inner calling led her to complete her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2017. Ashley has completed additional trainings in trauma-informed yoga, yin yoga, and somatic movement. Ashley believes that yoga is for every body and teaches a mindful flow that is accessible yet challenging, emphasizing the use of breath to find power and strength and to connect with our inner selves. She hopes her students leave class feeling more grounded, connected, and rejuvenated
