At One Yoga, we believe in the transformative power of yoga—not just as a physical practice, but as a means to inspire personal growth that minimizes harm and fosters positive contributions to the world. This principle reflects Ahimsa, or non-violence. Our book club is a safe and inclusive space to explore themes of racial and social justice through the lens of yoga and mindfulness practices.
Beginning in October, the One Yoga Book Club will dive into The Art of Gathering by Priya Parker, which challenges us to rethink how we come together. Our discussions will serve as a platform for sharing insights, experiences, and diverse perspectives, fostering meaningful conversations that inspire self-reflection.
In addition to book discussions, our meetings will integrate various yoga and mindfulness techniques to support your personal journey and provide practical tools for navigating the complexities of social justice.
We celebrate the diversity within our community and strive to create a welcoming environment where all voices are heard and valued. This book club offers an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and collectively contribute to a more just and compassionate world.
