Our History

One Yoga opened its doors in July 2002, and in April 2005 the process of applying for 501(c)(3) non-profit status began. The application was approved in March 2007. Since that time, a quarter-time executive director and a part-time managing director were hired, the board of directors was increased, and a strategic plan was developed for expanding the organization's work beyond the walls of the studio and into the community.
