One Yoga Outreach Fund
The Vision: To establish a $75,000 annual fund to underwrite active and ongoing partnerships with non-profit and government organizations to provide the health and well-being benefits of yoga to their staff and clients.
The 2010 Goal: Twenty partnerships with organizations who serve clients who would not otherwise have access to yoga.
The Program: One Yoga instructors will work collaboratively with partners to develop programs to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the population being served.
The Impact: Think about the impact yoga has made on your life. Now, think about bringing that inner calm and strength to an elderly person in a nursing home, a child with autism, a single parent in transitional housing, a teenager overcoming addiction, or a blind student struggling to gain control over their environment.
